Refrigeration, Drying and Defrosting Equipment

Dryers

The air handling unit is a vertical cabinet made entirely of AISI-304L stainless steel, designed to house a set of fans and exchange batteries. The batteries include a cooling battery, a heating battery and, as required, a third additional heating battery. The construction and materials of these batteries are adapted to the refrigerant circulating through them or to the product being dried. For ventilation, direct-drive EC (electronically controlled) fans are used, characterised by their gradual start-up and the ability to adjust the airflow directly from the controller’s display.

Industrial Refrigeration

These stand-alone systems, whether in compact or split format, offer a high level of efficiency and reliability. They are adaptable to a wide range of project needs and specifications.

Designed for outdoor installation, these systems do not require a machine room and are easy to install. They are delivered pre-charged with refrigerant, tested, adjusted and verified in our test facilities. Their versatility is reflected in the different options available, including compact models for wall or ceiling mounting, as well as split versions.

Mini Dryers

Our mini-dryers are refrigeration equipment specially designed for the drying, heating and maturing process of various products. These units can be either autonomous, in which the compression group is included and will work with a refrigerant gas, or centralised, in which the valve station is included and prepared to work with the corresponding refrigerant. We have different alternatives in terms of the type of equipment: compact or split equipment, cubic evaporator, ceiling or static, etc. For the correct configuration of the mini-dryer, the type of product, the process and the characteristics of the project will be taken into account. There are also a series of options to meet the requirements of each project.

Defrosting

The defrosting systems accelerate the natural defrosting process by providing warm air, mainly controlled by three temperature probes and a specific programme. These probes, two of which are located inside and outside the product and another one for ambient temperature and relative humidity, ensure product protection and proper defrosting

The unit comprises two internal coils, one for cooling and one for heating, and has a ventilation train that distributes hot or cold air inside the space. Various heat sources can be used depending on industry availability: hot glycol, hot gas, hot water, steam or electric heaters. Once the defrosting process is complete, the equipment has a cooling coil to keep the product in optimal conditions.
